"Stayed for only one night unfortunately - would have stayed here for all of our stay had we known of the Hotel earlier.Spacious and very comfortable with fantastic rooms and bathrooms.

I was up at 4.30 am the following morning for an early flight and noticed that the Manager [or owner] was doing an outside inspection with his family and staff - good to see the management taking such serious care.!"

"I stayed at the Sea Cliff for ten days in January 2010. The hotel and grounds are stunningly beautiful. My room was large, modern, and comfortably furnished. Breakfast was fantastic and served in an open air restaurant with amazing ocean views. It was included in the room rate and had two parts: a small buffet of fruit, yogurt, cereal, and pastries, and a full menu of numerous hot dishes to include eggs, sausage, potatoes, and toast. I always ended up eating so much that I wouldn't be hungry until dinner!
Free wireless is available. It could be a bit slow but was certainly adequate. The staff were gracious, kind, and attentive. The only problem I had was a trail of ants in my room one day; I called reception, waited about a minute, and was met by a staff member who promptly took care of the problem.
I can't say enough about how much I loved my stay.!"

"Excellent location overlooking the Indian Ocean. Rooms are clean and good size.
The restaurant is a good bet, generous breakfast choices with fresh fruit; excellent sea food platter at dinner. The pool is nice and uncrowded. Serior staff are very helpful, desk and other staff are competent but not wonderful. Maybe not fully recovered from the fire reported by previous visitors, but perhaps unavoidable with the tropical climate. A good bet in Dar, preferred by me to the other mainstream hotels I have visited on the peninsula, and easy access but less noise than center city!"
