It is with immense regret that The Hotel Sea Cliff team would like to
inform all our valued
patrons, associates & friends that tragically, the hotel has
suffered substantial damages to the
majority of rooms, public areas & conference facilities, due to a
fire which broke out early
evening of Saturday 22nd September.
Fortunately all guests & staff were evacuated without incident, for
which we were most grateful.
The South Eastern wing which houses
The Casino, Karambezi Restaurant & Bowling Alley was

The local authorities and fire fighting services did everything within
their power to try to bring

fire under control, and miraculously managed to save the South Eastern wing

At this stage, it is impossible to ascertain the full extent of the
damage and exactly what
course of action will be taken. We are most confident that, what Hotel
Sea Cliff has built up
and established over the last ten years, will certainly not be in vain. We will, without a doubt,
rebuild the hotel, and be in a position to offer an even better
hospitality product to the public,
and re-establish what has become an iconic symbol of welcome in
Tanzania.
We are happy to inform you that Sea Cliff Village will continue to
operate as usual, and all 21
rooms, shops, restaurants & fast food outlets will offer an uninterrupted service. The reservation

operate as normal.
The Karambezi restaurant, Casino & Bowling Alley will resume full
operations as usual on
Thursday 27th September.
Our sister property, Sea Cliff Court & Serviced Apartments, are
scheduled to open during
November and we are looking forward to offering a level of service,
quality & comfort our
guests have been accustomed to.

associate hotels, who
made their facilities and services available without compromise. I am
pleased to inform the
public & valued patrons that we have communicated will all our
counterparts and they have
agreed to gladly look after your interim accommodation requirements. For
